Marigold
Sunset
(Tagetes erecta)
If you love marigolds, why not go all out and try a marigold that will grow 3' to 4' tall! Large, double flowers bloom in beautiful shades of orange and yellow. In very hot desert climates they bloom best in fall. A hint to make tall varieties stronger: when transplanting, dig deep planting holes and strip off the leaves below the soil line. Long lasting cut flowers.
