Love-in-a-Mist
(Nigella damascena)
This drought tolerant cool weather plant blooms quickly and looks great in the garden or in arrangements. The seed pods dry well and are interesting in dried arrangements. Although Love-in-a-mist is an annual, it will reseed itself an come back year after year. Foliage is thread-like and flowers are about 1.5 inches across. Blooms in shades of blue, pink and white.

To Plant A Meadow: Prepare soil by removing weeds and cultivating to loosen the soil. Spread seeds evenly over prepared soil. Pressing or rolling seeds onto soil will help improve germination rate. Keep soil slightly moist until seedlings are established.
