Larkspur: American Flag - Seeds & Bulbs
The Bodger Seed Co. of El Monte, Ca First planted a 17 acre field of red, white and blue larkspur in the shape of the American flag in 1942 after Pearl Harbor was attacked. In 2002, as a gift to the city of Lompoc, Ca, they have recreated this tradition to pay tribute to the heroes and victims of September 11th, 2001. In most areas, this larkspur blend will bloom around flag day. This packet is also dedicated to those heroes and victims of September 11, 2001.
