Larkspur: American Flag - Seeds & Bulbs

Larkspur
American Flag
(Consilida ambigua)

The Bodger Seed Co. of El Monte, Ca First planted a 17 acre field of red, white and blue larkspur in the shape of the American flag in 1942 after Pearl Harbor was attacked. In 2002, as a gift to the city of Lompoc, Ca, they have recreated this tradition to pay tribute to the heroes and victims of September 11th, 2001.
