Bake whole, washed mini-pumpkins like potatoes, at 350 degrees until their tops turn brown. Results: adorable, individual vegetables with edible skins, flesh & seeds.
Dessert variation: Cut stems out of 4 washed mini-pumpkins & scoop out seeds. Mix 1 cup milk with 4 Tbsp. sugar (vary to taste). Pour equal amounts into each pumpkin. Replace stems, bake as above.
