2 tbl. butter or margarine
1/2 cup green onions with tops, chopped
1-1/2 cups shelled fresh peas (approx. 1-1/2 lb) or frozen peas (10oz pkg.)
1/2 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
1/4 tsp. Basil, chopped
1 tsp. Parsley, chopped
1/2 cup water
Heat butter in a skillet. Add green onions and cook for 5 minutes. Add the peas, sugar, salt and pepper, basil, parsley and water. Cook covered for 10 minutes or until peas are tender. NOTE: If you use frozen peas, decrease water by a 1/4 cup.
