Lemongrass

• Everyone hates the word diarrhea, but if you have it lemongrass can help. Combine 1/2 tsp. each of dried lemongrass and ground ginger in a cup of boiling black coffee. Steep eight minutes. Strain before drinking.
• If insects invade your space use a few drops of lemon grass essential oil in your aroma lamp.
• Does your pet have fleas? Fleas absolutely hate lemongrass. Lemongrass essential oil can be safely used on your pets. Bathe your pet in a mixture of 20 drops of lemongrass essential oil and 4 oz of a mild unscented shampoo.

Lemon Balm

• Refresh your skin on a warm day with extra strong lemon balm tea. Mix 1/4 cup of lemon balm leaves with 1/2 cup of warm not boiling water. Steep 5 minutes. Strain. Add 1 tablespoon of witch hazel. Place mixture in a spray bottle and mist your skin throughout the day. Make fresh daily.
• Have trouble shutting down your body and truly relaxing before bed? This lemon balm mixture calms the heart, nerves and digestion system. Add 6 drops of essential oil of lemon balm with ¼ cup canola oil. Before bed massage your hands, feet and ears with the oil. If you want added relaxation, ask that certain someone to help you out with your massage!
