2 cups fresh basil, lightly packed
1 cup olive oil
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup pine nuts or walnuts
1/2 tsp. Salt
Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
NOTE: This recipe makes enough sauce for 1 pound of pasta.
