Stuffed Crust Pizza

2 tsp. cornmeal
2 (10oz) tubes pizza crust
8oz string cheese or mozzarella cheese, cut into strips
1 tbs. butter or margarine, melted
1-1/2 tsp. fresh basil, minced or 1/2 tsp. dried basil
1 (8oz) can pizza sauce
1 (3-1/2oz) pkg. pepperoni, sliced
1 (4oz) can mushrooms, drained
1 (2-1/4 oz) can ripe olives, sliced and drained
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Sprinkle the cornmeal over a greased 15x10x1 baking pan. Unroll the pizza dough and place on the pan, letting the dough drape over the edge 1 inch. Pinch the center seam to seal. Place pieces of the string cheese around the edges of the dough. Fold the excess dough over the cheese and inch to seal. Brush the crust with the melted butter then sprinkle with the basil. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 5 minutes. Spread the sauce over the crust and place 2/3 of the pepperoni in a single layer over the sauce. Add the mushrooms, olives and cheese. Top with the remaining pepperoni. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is melted.
