White Bread (Breadmaker) Recipe


Bread is a simple, staple food we've made unnecessarily complex and somewhat unhealthy in modern times. One of the great advantages of baking your own bread using pre-mixes is the shelf life of the mix; it will keep for months. By stocking up on mix, you'll never run out of bread again.

Step 1

Add all ingredients and then press setting #2.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 1 C. Water
  • 1 1 T. Skim Milk Powder
  • 1 2-1/2 T. Shortening
  • 1 2 T. Sugar
  • 1 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 3-1/3 C. flour
  • 1 1-1/4 tsp. Yeast
