Brigitte's Fruit Salad Recipe

Step 1

Beat the eggwhites with the sugar until very stiff. Arrange all the fruits and the almonds into 4 ovenproof dishes. Sprinkle the rum over each dish and heap the eggwhite mixture ontop of the fruit. Broil for a couple of minutes until the eggwhite/meringue is firm.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 Apples, peeled & sliced thin
  • 2 Oranges, peeled & sliced
  • 2 Bananas peeled & sliced thin
  • 1sm Can Mandarin Oranges
  • Marachino cherries
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 3tb Sugar
  • 2tb Thinly sliced almonds
  • 1tb Rum
