Moroccan Glazed Carrots Recipe

Step 1

Slice the carrots fairly thin lengthwise. Cut slices into 3/4" lengths. Cook segments in boiling, salted water until just tender.

Step 2

Drain. Toss in pot with remaining ingredients.

Step 3

Serve hot as a side dish or cold as an appetizer accompanying other vegetables.

Things You'll Need

  • 2lb Carrots, peeled
  • Salt
  • 4tb Olive oil
  • 2tb Sugar
  • 2tb Lemon juice
  • 2tb Cilantro, chopped
  • Hot red pepper, to taste
  • Sweet red pepper, to taste
