Mcdougall Curried Bean Sandwich Spread Recipe

Step 1

Place the water in a saucepan, add all the vegetables & the garlic.

Step 2

Cook stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Stir in the curry powder, cumin & soy sauce, mix well. Remove from the heat. Add the beans; mix well.

Step 3

Place the mixture in a food processor or blender & process briefly until chopped but not pureed. Chill.

  • 3/4c Water
  • 1ea Onion, finely chopped
  • 1c Celery, diced
  • 1ea Green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2c Carrot, diced
  • 2ea Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 1/2ts Curry powder
  • 1/2ts Ground cumin
  • 1tb Soy sauce
  • 3c Cooked white beans
