Hearty Vegetable Soup Recipe

Step 1

Combine the undrained tomatoes, undrained beans, water, and remaining vegetables and seasonings in a 4-quart Dutch oven. Bring to boil. Reduce the heat; cover and simmer for about 1 hour or until vegs. are tender.

  • 15oz Can red kidney beans
  • 15oz Canned great northern beans
  • 1/2c Water
  • 2ea Green peppers, med. chopped
  • 1ea Zucchini, halved length, sliced
  • 2ts Dried basil, crushed
  • 1ea Bay leaf
  • 32oz Canned tomatoes, cut up
  • 15oz Garbanzos beans
  • 3ea Onions, medium, chopped
  • 2ea Celery stalks, sliced
  • 2ea Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4ts Pepper
