Fruit Crumble Recipe


Nothing can match the flavor of fresh fruit in this easy recipe. Apples, peaches and blueberries are among iChef's favorites!

Step 1

To make Crumble Mix, mix together flour and brown sugar. Cube butter and add. Use the fingers to rub butter into the flour mixture until it looks like fine breadcrumbs.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180-190 degrees celcius.

Step 3

Layer the fruit evenly in the dish. Spoon crumble mix over, and bake for 30-45 minutes.

Step 4

For FRUIT CRUMBLE PIE, put a layer of pastry on the sides and bottom of the dish.

Things You'll Need

  • 2cups flour
  • 1cup brown sugar
  • 110-125grams butter
  • 1/2cup rolled oats (optional)
  • Enough stewed fruit to make a 1-2 inch layer in a dish roughly 50 cm by 32 cm long, and 7 cm high
