Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine boiling water, shortening, sugar and salt. Allow to stand 3-4 min. until shortening is melted and sugar dissolved. Add yeast and eggs, mix well. Add 2 cups flour, beat until smooth.Add enough remaining flour to form soft dough (do not knead). Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Turn dough onto floured surface. Pinch off a piece and form a 2 1/2" ball. Roll into a 5" rope; shape into a knot. Repeat with remaining dough. Place on greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake at 350° for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.
