Samosa Khol (Pastry Dough) Recipe

Step 1

Rub the ghee into the flour. Stir in salt & baking powder & continue to rub until you have a crumbly texture. Gradually add water as necessary & knead into a stiff but pliable dough.

Step 2

Divide dough into four equal portions & shape into a ball. Flatten each portion & then roll out into a thin, round disk.

Step 3

Cut each disk in half & set aside, covered with a damp towel until until the filling is ready.

Vegtable Oil can be substituted for Ghee (Ghee is a form of clarified butter)

Things You'll Need

  • 3tb Ghee*
  • 1c Whole-wheat flour
  • 1pn Salt
  • 1pn Baking powder
  • Water, as necessary
