Sour Cream Rolls Recipe

Step 1

Combine water and yeast; let stand 5 minutes. Meanwhile, beat together remaining ingredients. Stir in yeast mixture; form into ball. Lightly oil bowl, and put dough in it. Roll dough over so top is also oiled. Cover with towel and let rise 1 hour. Place dough on lightly floured board and roll to 1/2" thick. Cut and shape. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

  • 1tb Yeast
  • 1/4c Butter
  • 3tb Maple syrup
  • 1 Egg
  • 1c Sour cream
  • 3 C whole wheat pastry flour
