Sourdough Cornbread Recipe

Step 1

Mix ingredients in the above order, stirring only enough to blend the mixture. Pour into a buttered pan. Bake in a 375 to 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes.

  • 1/2c Active Sourdough Starter
  • 2tb Margarine, Melted
  • 1/2c Cornmeal
  • 1ts Salt
  • 1tb Sugar
  • 1/2c Sour Cream or Yogurt
  • 2ea Large Eggs, Stirred
  • 1c Unbleached Flour
  • 1/2ts Cream Of Tartar
  • 1/2ts Baking Powder
