Oyster Artichoke Soup Brazoo Recipe

Overview

Rich, buttery soup with pieces of artichoke heart and oyster. If you love oysters or artichokes you can add half-again as much of these ingredients. You can also use 1 pint each heavy cream and half-half for a less rich soup.

Step 1

Fry Bacon, hold grease take out the bacon hold to add later.

Step 2

Saute Onions in Bacon Grease till clear, add Bell Peppers, and Celery.

Step 3

Add Cream of Mushroom soup, and Half and Half.

Step 4

Cut up the Pepper Jack Cheese

Step 5

In saute Pan melt butter, Drain Jars and Cans of Artichokes in Soup, Cut up the Artichokes and Saute till golden.

Step 6

Cut the oysters in half and in quarters.

Step 7

Simmer Soup, Add Oysters and Green onions cook for 5 minutes and serve with French Bread.

  • 1 1/4 # Bacon/Grease
  • 1 3 Onions Chopped
  • 1 1 Bell Pepper
  • 1 2 Stalk Celery
  • 1 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 4 oz Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 1 2 oz Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 1 Pt Half & Half
  • 1 4 TBL Butter
  • 1 2 Sm Jars of Artichokes
  • 1 1 Sm Can Artichokes Centers
  • 1 1 Quart Oysters Chopped/Whole
  • 1 Green Onions
  • 1 Salt,
  • 1 Black, White, Red Pepper to taste
