Mushroom Casserole Recipe

Step 1

Grease oblong baking dish; add mushrooms. In saucepan, dissolve bouillon in boiling water. Make paste of flour and small amount of water; add slowly to boullion; blend in Parmesan cheese, cream and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Pour over mushrooms. Mix melted butter with stuffing mix and spread over mushrooms.

Step 2

Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Step 3

Remove foil and cook 10 minutes more to brown slightly.

  • 2lb Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4c Boiling water
  • 5 Chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 -3 tbsp flour
  • 2tb Parmesan cheese
  • 1c Heavy cream
  • 1ts Black pepper
  • 1/2c Butter, melted
  • 7oz Pkg Pepperage Farm stuffing
  • -mix
