Spinach and Cheese Casserole Recipe

Overview

Spinach and cheese both being healthy is a wonderful recipe for the family. The sauted onion and garlic give it a spicy taste and the melted cheese adds to make it a spicy cheesy dish.

Step 1

Lightly grease 13"x9" baking dish. Drain spinach. Saute onion and garlic in 2 T. butter.

Step 2

Mix spinach with eggs, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, flour and remaining butter.

Step 3

Add sauted onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

  • 1 2 10 oz. frozen spinach, thawed
  • 1 1 chopped onion
  • 1 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 8 T. melted butter
  • 1 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 1 2 T. flour
  • 1 1 lb. Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 1 Salt & pepper
