Stuffed Quahogs Recipe

Step 1

Shuck quahogs and chop meat. Wash shells. Cook mushrooms and onions until tender in butter. Blend in flour and seasonings.

Step 2

Add chopped clams and cook until flour is thickened, stirring constantly.

Step 3

Grease clam shells and fill with mixture. Blend butter and crumbs and sprinkle over filling. Bake in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.

  • 12 Quahogs
  • 1c Onion, chopped
  • 4oz Can mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4c Butter, melted
  • 3tb Flour
  • 1ts Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2tb Butter, melted
  • 1/2c Dry bread crumbs
