Nut Bread Recipe

Step 1

Sift white flour, measure, and sift with salt and baking powder. Add graham or whole wheat flour. Combine sugar, water, molasses, and milk. Add dry ingredients, nuts, and raisins. Mix thoroughly. Pour into well-oiled baking pans. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 1 hour. 2 small loaves.

  • 3/4c Milk
  • 2c Graham flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1/2c Raisins
  • 1c White flour
  • 2 1/2ts Baking powder

  • 3/4ts Baking soda
  • 3/4c Chopped nuts
