Pear Salsa Recipe

Step 1

Heat oil in medium frypan. Saute onion until tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add green pepper, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, oregano, basil and Tobasco sauce; cook 2 minutes. Remove frypan from heat and stir in tomatoes and pears. Cover and refrigerate.

Make 5 cups.

  • 2tb Vegetable oil
  • 1md Onion, chopped
  • 1 Green pepper, chopped fine
  • 1lg Garlic clove, chopped fine
  • 2tb Finely chopped parsley
  • 1tb Lemon juice
  • 1/2ts Salt
  • 1tb Chopped fresh oregano OR
  • 1ts Dried oregano
  • 1tb Chopped fresh basil OR
  • 1ts Dried basil
  • 1/2ts Tabasco sauce
  • 2md Tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • Coarse
  • 2 To 3 pears, peeled & chopped
