Basic Cornbread Recipe

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

Mix the cornmeal, flours and baking powder together and set aside. Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over the dry ingredients. Fold together briefly. Pour into a nonstick 8-inch square pan. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Things You'll Need

  • 2c Cornmeal
  • 1/2c Whole wheat flour
  • 1/3c Oat flour
  • 1/3c Millet flour
  • 4ts Baking powder
  • 2c Rice milk
  • 4tb Frozen apple juice
  • Concentrate, thawed
  • 3ts Ener-G Egg Replacer, well
  • Beaten with 4 tb. water
