Garbanzo-Oat Waffles Recipe

Step 1

Preheat waffle iron.

Step 2

Place oatmeal in blender. Grind into coarse flour. Add all remaining ingredients. Blend. Let sit a few minutes. Blend again for 2 seconds. Pour into hot, well-oiled waffle iron. Bake 5 to 8 minutes.

VARIATION: May replace 1/4 cup water with 1 egg.

  • 1c AM Oat Flakes
  • 1/2c AM Garbanzo Flour
  • 1 1/4c Water
  • 1tb AM Unrefined Vegetable Oil
  • 2ts Honey
  • 1/4ts Sea salt, or more (optional)
  • 1/2ts Non-alum baking powder
