Brian's favorite dip Recipe


Vegan alternative to the usual sour cream dips. It is a favorite at our house for chips, topping for hay stacks, baked potatoes, etc. (Rose)

Step 1

Blend all ingredients well

Step 2

Add 1 1/2 c boiling water and cook until thick.

Step 3

Use warm or cold.

Step 4

Keeps in frig for about a week.

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2c roasted cashews
  • 2 1/2T. cornstarch
  • 1/2 sweet red pepper
  • 1 1/4t salt
  • 2T. fresh lemon juice
  • 1c water
  • 2T nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1/4c oat flakes
  • 1t. onion powder
