Apple Filled Acorn Squash Recipe


An easy recipe to prepare your Thanksgiving squash. Takes about 45 minutes in the oven.

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

Step 2

Cut squash in half lengthwise and scrape out seeds.

Step 3

Place cut side down in baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.

Step 4

Mix the other ingredients. Turn squash cut side up, fill with apple mix and continue baking for 20 minutes, or until squash is tender.

Things You'll Need

  • 3 Acorn Squash
  • 2 Apples, chopped
  • 1/2c Chopped Walnuts
  • 1tb Grated Orange Peel
  • 1/2c Brown Sugar
  • 2tb Margarine, melted
