Garlic Mushrooms Recipe


Garlic and mushrooms make a wonderful combination. They must be served piping hot so if possible use a cast iron frying pan and serve straght from the pan.

Step 1

Heat oil and butter in a wok or cast iron skillet. Add the scallions and garlic and stir fry over medium heat for 1-2 minutes

Step 2

Add the whole white mushrooms and fry over high heat for 4-5 minutes stirring and tossing with a large wide spatula or wooden spoon.

Step 3

Stir the bread crumbs, parsley, lemon juice, salt ane pepper. Stir fry for a few minutes until the lemon juice has nearly evaporated and then serve.

  • 2tbsp sunflower oil
  • 2tbsp butter
  • 5each scallions, thinly sliced
  • 3cloves garlic , crushed
  • 1pound white mushrooms
  • 3tbsp white bread crumbs
  • 1tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2tbsp lemon juice
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
