Benihana Salad Dressing Recipe

* May substitute low sodium/light soy sauce.

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in blender and process until almost smooth. Makes 6 servings; about 2 tbs + 2 tsp each. Unused portions may be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator.

  • 1/4c Onion; chopped
  • 1/4c Peanut oil
  • 2tb Rice wine vinegar
  • 2tb Water
  • 1tb Fresh ginger root; chopped
  • 1tb Celery; chopped
  • 1tb Soy sauce; *
  • 1 1/2ts Tomato paste
  • 1 1/2ts Sugar
  • 1ts Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
