Norwegian Sardine Pate Recipe

Step 1

Cream together first four ingredients. Mash sardines and beat into cheese mixture with parsley and hot sauce. Form into mound or desired shape.

Step 2

Garnish with capers and parsley. Serve with toast fingers, bread or crackers.

Makes 2 cups.

Things You'll Need

  • 8oz Cream cheese
  • 1/2ts Salt
  • 1 1/2tb Lemon or lime juice
  • 1/4ts Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2cn 3 1/4 oz boneless skinless
  • Sardines, drained
  • 1tb Chopped parsley
  • 1/8ts Hot pepper sauce
  • Capers
  • Additional chopped parsley
