Is a 10-Inch Plant Pot Big Enough for a Tomato Plant?

Full size tomato plants need at least 5 gallons of soil volume for long-term health, more than a 10-inch pot holds. Dwarf tomato plants and patio varieties can be planted in a 12-inch pot.
