Dwarf orange trees are the perfect tree for just about anyone. They are easy to care for and can be grown indoors, on patios and sun porches or outdoors in the garden. These trees only grow to a height of 3 feet, but with the proper care they'll provide you with fruit throughout the year.
Use a thermometer to ensure the temperature where your dwarf orange tree is located remains between 70 and 80 degrees F year-round. Humidity is not a factor when caring for a dwarf orange tree, but maintaining the proper temperature is crucial.
Place the orange tree in an area where it receives full sunlight for most of the day. In order to produce fruit, dwarf orange trees require plenty sunlight and heat.
Water the dwarf orange tree frequently using a hose or watering can. Dwarf orange trees have thick foliage and are fruit-bearing, which requires plenty of water. Keep the soil around the tree moist (not soaked) at all times.
Fertilize the dwarf orange tree with Miracid once a month. Orange trees require acidic soil---by fertilizing with Miracid, you will ensure the tree gets the proper nutrients. Buy Miracid at your local garden specialty store and fertilize according to directions on the package.
