Garlic butter squash is a great side dish for any meal including pasta. It is so soft and tender, that even little toddlers can eat it with ease. It is also great for anyone who has trouble chewing vegetables. Here is how you can make a healthy garlic butter squash:
Wash your squash under the kitchen faucet.
Use your knife to cut the squash into thin slices. Leave the skin on the squash.
Add your squash slices to the frying pan and add some water. Place the lid over the squash and allow to cook for 10 minutes or until the squash is tender. Squash should be cooking on medium heat.
Drain the water out of the frying pan and return in to the heat. Add butter and wait for it to melt.
Add garlic, salt, and pepper and give it about 3-5 minutes for the flavors to combine.
Remove from the heat and place in a serving dish. Set on the table and serve hot.
