Find your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with this cute bucket of gold candy dish. This St. Patrick's Day decoration is fun and easy to make. This project takes only an hour or two to make, and you can give it your own personal decorations if you like.

Instructions

Step 1

Spray-paint a small metal bucket St. Patrick's Day green and set aside to let the paint dry.

Step 2

Cut a piece of card stock to form a semi-circle. Paint a rainbow on one side and allow it to dry. Turn it over and paint a rainbow on the other side.

Step 3

Take some fancy gold trim and glue it around the rim on the outside of the bucket.

Step 4

Paint HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY on the outside of the bucket in white or black. Paint shamrocks on the bucket in a darker shade of green or outline them in black. If you are artistic, paint a leprechaun on the bucket. If not, just paint his hat in black with a gold buckle. Allow the paint to dry completely.

Step 5

Glue the rainbow inside the top of the bucket about 2 inches down, allowing for the candy to cover the bottom edge. The top of the rainbow should be sticking out of the bucket.

Step 6

Fill the bucket with gold coin chocolates.
