How to Stir Fry Leafy Greens

Step 1

Heat olive oil in pan at low to medium high heat. Add onions and garlic.

Step 2

Add chicken, stir occasionally. When chicken becomes white and tender, add tofu. Mix in the soy sauce to taste.

Step 3

Add leafy greens, and cover for 5-10 minutes.

Tips and Warnings

Sesame seed oil can be used instead of olive oil for that toasted, nutty taste. By omitting the chicken in the recipe, this can be a vegetarian meal. Add toasted pine nuts for texture and crunch.

olive oil, 1/4 cup onions, 2 garlic cloves, crushed, 1 cup chicken, cubed, 1 pkg. tofu, cubed, 1 tsp. soy sauce, leafy greens, washed and drained (bokchoy, arugula, collard greens, swiss chard)
