These spicey little morsels are the perfect addition to a summer barbeque. Be sure to make plenty because they won't last long! The recipe below makes 24 appetizers, but could easily be doubled or halved.

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Mix together cream cheese and cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl.

Step 3

Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and disgard seeds. Fill each jalapeno half with 1 teaspoon cheese mixture. Wrap each stuffed jalaeno half with bacon and secure with a toothpick if necessary. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

Step 4

Bake jalapenos for 20 minutes or until bacon has browned.

Step 5

Let jalapenos cool completely. Place on serving platter and enjoy!

Tips and Warnings

Be sure to wash hands after taking seeds out of jalapenos as the seeds will burn the skin. Stuffed jalapenos will be extremely hot when taken out of the oven. Be sure to let cool completely before eating.

Things You'll Need

12 jalapenos, 1 12 ounce package cream cheese, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 12 slices bacon cut in half, Knife, Mixing bowl, toothpicks (Optional), Baking pan, Serving platter
