How to Make Whole Wheat and Bran Breakfast Bars

Whole wheat and bran in the form of breakfast bars add a fiber boost to your day. Carrot and cinnamon give these bars a sweet and slightly spicy flavor that makes them appetizing for children as well as adults. You can serve the bars as a healthy dessert with homemade ice cream, or you can have them alone as a snack. Complementing side snacks for the wheat and bran bars include yogurt, fruit or a breakfast smoothie. This recipe yields about 16 bars.
