The AeroGarden 3 and the AeroGarden 3 Elite both make it possible enjoy fresh flowers or to eat fresh herbs, greens and vegetables daily. However, there are a few subtle differences between the two. The most notable difference is in the aesthetic design.
The AeroGarden 3 is available in various colors and also can be purchased in whimsically designs, including a ladybug, a puppy or a cow. One version is even decorated to look like a tomato.
The AeroGarden 3 Elite is compact in size, just like the regular AeroGarden 3, but it is only available in black with brushed stainless steel accents. The company's website describes this design as an "elite touch of refinement."
There is a $10 price difference between the AeroGarden 3 and the AeroGarden 3 Elite. The Elite has a suggested retail price of $59.95, while the regular AeroGarden 3 retails for $49.95.
