Barbecue smokies, also referred to as barbecue cocktail sausages or little smokies, are ideal appetizers for holiday parties, sleepovers or family dinners. Barbecue smokies can also be prepared as a snack or the meat dish to a main meal. With about 25 minutes of preparation time, these miniature delights are a definite quick meal.
Preheat the slow cooker about 15 minutes prior to start on high heat.
Pour the two packs of cocktail smokies into the drainer. Run the drainer over lukewarm water and wash the sausages.
Place the smokies into the slow cooker, then add the honey barbecue on top.
Cover the slow cooker and let heat for about two to three minutes, then mix and stir so that they honey barbecue sauce is evenly distributed in the slow cooker.
Cover the slow cooker for an additional five minutes. Turn the slow cooker on low, and then serve.
