How to Make a Christmas Tree of Vintage Costume Jewelry

Overview

If you have a drawer filled with vintage costume jewelry that you no longer wear but can't bear to part with, transform the pieces in a stunning and creative Christmas decoration. This way, the jewelry will be on display for all to admire even though it is not being worn. The most colorful and sparkling pieces will work best. The pieces do not need to be in the traditional Christmas colors of green and red for the Christmas tree decoration to work.

Step 1

Draw the outline of a Christmas tree on the board. Draw the tree in pencil in case you make a mistake. Place your jewelry pieces on the board to ensure you have enough pieces to fill the space.

Step 2

Mount the selected pieces of jewelry on the board within the tree outline using a hot glue gun or a strong adhesive.

Step 3

Hang the framed Christmas tree on a wall. Tack Christmas lights around the frame if desired to add another level of sparkle to the decoration.

Things You'll Need
