Get your kids into the Christmas spirit by giving them a fun craft project. A Jingle Bell Angel is a great way to spend some quality time with your little elves. All the items required to make this decoration can be found at your local craft store, or your kitchen's junk drawer. Your kids will enjoy getting their hands dirty. You will enjoy keeping your kids busy after school.
Paint the small wooden ball with the flesh colored paint. Set the ball aside and allow it to dry.
With a pair of needle-nosed pliers, remove the wire at the top of the jingle bell. If you want your finished angel to jingle, bend the wire down instead.
Glue the craft hair onto the top of the ball after the paint is dry. Give your angel eyes with the black paint pen and a smiling mouth with the red paint pen.
Rub blush onto the angel's cheeks with your fingers.
Secure the wooden ball to the top of the jingle bell with the hot glue gun.
Sew a running stitch with a needle and thread on the top edge of the lace. Surround the jingle bell with the lace and place the stitched edge of the lace so it fits around the area where the jingle bell and the wooden ball meet. Pull the string so the lace gathers around the angel's "neck." Place a small amount of hot glue at the back of the angel's neck to keep the string secure.
Make the angel's wings with wire ribbon. Fold the wire ribbon so the two ends meet in the middle to form two wings. Wrap a piece of thin wire around the middle of the ribbon to secure the wings.
Place the wings on the back of the angel and attach them with a dab of hot glue.
Form a halo by making a circle with the tinsel stem. Secure the two ends to one another with hot glue.
Glue the halo to the top of the angel's head.
Tie the smaller piece of ribbon into a bow and glue it to the angel's neck.
