Chocolate Fondue with Apple Wedges

Serves 4


1/3 cup heavy cream
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
2 tablespoons rum or 1 teaspoon rum flavoring
4 Braeburn or Granny Smith apples

  1. In small fondue pot or heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat cream. Add chocolate and stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Stir in rum. Keep warm over very low heat.
  2. Just before serving, core apples and cut into wedges for dipping.
