Although there are several types of blueberry bushes that grow well in zone 7, rabbiteye blueberry bushes are better for the warm temperatures of zones 7 through 9. It is a high bush variety that has few pests and diseases, unless grown in sopping soil. Then, the plant may contract mummery berry fungus.
