Famed for its hardiness in all weathers as a component of yacht decks, teak lumber comes in specifications of 1 to 3 inches thick, 3 to 10 inches wide and 3 to 12 feet long. Teak beams can be 4 inches or thicker, 6 inches wide or more and 7 to 16 feet in length. Teak decking can be of a finished thickness of 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch, 1 7/8 inches wide and up to 16 feet long.
