Is it Okay to Pot a Plant Whose Roots Have Some Algae on Them?

It is fine to pot a plant with a small amount of algae on the roots. Ideally, wipe the roots with a damp towel first to remove the majority of the algae. Make certain the potting medium is not soggy at the time of transplant.
