How Long to Plant Grass Seeds After Using Fungicide?

If you are planting grass seeds that have not been treated with fungicides, you should treat the soil at the time of seeding or soon thereafter. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the timing and rate of application of the fungicide.

Put Down Fungicide On Grass

Apply the fungicide during the cool morning hours. If the temperature is more than 90 degrees F., wait to apply until it is cooler. Pour the mixture into the sprayer tank. For best results, use a nozzle that sprays out at about 60 PSI. Reapply as required on the package.
