When to Remove Stakes From a Sweet Acacia

You should remove the stakes from a Sweet Acacia within one year after transplanting. Use one stake 2 to 4 inches from the center of the planting hole for bare-root plants, or two parallel stakes 1 foot from the edge of the planting hole for container plants or balled and burlapped plants.
