Do I Need a Soil Amendment in Central Oregon?

Oregon State University Extension describes central Oregon soils as variable. Some soils are light-textured and low in nutrients, organic content and in their ability to hold moisture. Add compost and other amendments as necessary after obtaining a soil test.
