How Long Is the Longest Bean Plant?

Beans belong to the pod-producing plant family called legumes. There are more than 18,000 different species of beans, and the sea heart--Entada gigas--is the longest. Sea hearts grow in tropical rainforests and can reach a length of 3 to 6 feet.
